bowen therapy for back pain
Bowen therapy for back pain

Back pain is a common issue that many of my clients face, and I am happy to share that Bowen therapy has a great success rate in providing relief.

Bowen therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that can address many of the underlying causes of back pain. This therapy involves precise, gentle rolling movements over muscles, tendons, and fascia, which can stimulate the body’s natural healing processes.

However, I understand that everyone’s journey is unique. If things don’t resolve as quickly or as well as hoped, I’m here to support you in finding the right solutions. Sometimes, the nature of the problem may require more than one intervention, and that’s perfectly okay.

The great news is that Bowen therapy works wonderfully alongside many other forms of therapy. Whether it’s physiotherapy, chiropractic care, or other holistic treatments, Bowen therapy can complement these approaches effectively. If you’re ever in doubt, I will always recommend seeing your GP to ensure you receive the best possible care.

But rest assured, Bowen therapy can tackle a lot of the reasons for back pain. Your feedback and trust mean the world to me, and I am grateful for your continued support. If you haven’t experienced Bowen therapy yet, now might be the perfect time to give it a try!

Warm regards,

Lisa

Please note: The Bowen Technique and other complementary therapies do not replace conventional medicine, and you should always seek the advice of your GP. Complementary therapists do not diagnose, nor do they prescribe or alter medication. They may, however, advise clients to be regularly assessed by their doctor in case their medication dose needs to be adjusted.

Self-care is the art of understanding what you need

In the midst of life’s demands, it’s easy to lose ourselves in the service of others. But remember, choosing yourself isn’t selfish—it’s necessary.

Self-care is the art of understanding what you need and giving yourself the nourishment you seek. It’s about pausing, breathing deeply, and embracing the beauty of being you.

Incorporate mindfulness into your daily routine. Take time to be present, savour the moment, and engage in activities you love. Whether it’s reading a book, taking a walk in nature, or simply enjoying a cup of tea, these moments of joy are essential.

Setting good boundaries is also crucial. Learn to say no when necessary and protect your time and energy. Honour your journey by prioritising your well-being and listening to your needs.

So today, make a promise to yourself. Prioritise your well-being, listen to your needs, and honour your journey. Because when you flourish, you empower yourself to contribute more lovingly to the world around you.

In today’s uncertain world, many of us are grappling with increased stress and anxiety, impacting our self-confidence, self-worth, and self-esteem. The Coronavirus pandemic has highlighted the importance of mental health and resilience, with Google Trends reporting a 250% rise in searches for “health coach, UK” since January 2021.

The pressures on our health system and the newfound awareness of our societal vulnerabilities have made us more attuned to our emotional needs. This is where Resilience Coaching comes in. Whether seeking support for work-life balance, chronic pain, or relationship issues, Resilience Coaching helps individuals explore and address areas that may be causing them to feel stuck or mentally down.

Through powerful questioning and reflective space, clients uncover their natural strengths and resilience, enabling them to navigate positive change.

Resilience Coaching equips clients with the psychological resources to bounce back from adversity, enhancing their ability to cope when things don’t go as planned.

As a Resilience Coach, I work intuitively, offering supportive and collaborative guidance while compassionately challenging my clients. Some may need just one or two sessions, while others seek ongoing support over several months. It’s important to remember that everyone is unique and has different needs. Why not consider embracing Resilience coaching for your better health and wellbeing?

Take care

Lisa
